Nowadays ABS braking system implemented also on motorcycle, an anti-lock brake system (ABS) prevents the wheels of a powered two wheeler from locking during braking time. Depend in order from wheel speed sensors ABS unit automatically alter the pressure of the motorcycle brake fluid in order to keep grip during deceleration to keep away from accidents. Mainly motorcycle ABS helps the biker to maintain stability during emergency braking time and also it does reduce the stopping distance.
At first BMW launch a hydraulic ABS for motorcycles in 1988, after a long time Daimler Benz and Bosch released the first series production with Anti-lock braking system (ABS). Also BMW K100 series were optionally prepared with the ABS.
In Bangladesh there is some of restriction for importing foreign branded motorcycle like, motorcycle engine cc limit only 165cc. Within this engine cc limit there is very few of motorcycle available which has ABS (Anti-lock braking system). As a result, in Bangladesh only very few of motorcycles which has ABS technology.
